Dr. Priscilla Lambert has a Ph.D. in political science from the University of California, San Diego (2004). She has spent over 5 years living and studying in Japan and has a MA in economics from Keio University.
Her research interests include Japanese employment and family policy, the policy-making process, and comparative social policy.
Her dissertation, “Japanese Family Policy in the 1990s: Business Consent in the Policy-making Process,” examines the political processes leading up to key pieces of legislation and family policy change and the role of employer associations in that process.
