About Kallen Web Design
In business since 2001, Kallen Web Design is owned by Kathleen Schreuder-Kallen and is operated by Kathleen, with her husband Hugh Kallen serving as Business and Communications Manager.
Serving a national client base, they work out of offices in Portage Michigan and the Lake Michigan lakeshore area.
Kathleen has been professionally involved in the creative process since receiving her Bachelors
in Art in 1990. In 2001 she completed her Post-Graduate Certification in Web Design as the first person to graduate from
the Kalamazoo Advanced Technology Center for New Media. Her web design experience since then has included work for Eaton Corporation, Kelloggs Corporation, WWMT TV 3, Western Michigan University and the University of Michigan, as well as creating nearly 100 business, franchise and non-profit websites for organizations both in West Michigan and across the United States.

Hugh Kallen graduated from Western Michigan University in 1983, with a focus on business and information systems. Prior to joining Kathleen's web design company in 2008, he served in various executive and management positions including Corporate Controller for the Jim Gilmore Enterprises Corporation, Comptroller for the City of Kalamazoo, Information Systems Manager for Landscape Forms, Inc., and Account Executive for Robert Half Management Resources.
Hugh utilizes his 25+ years of business management experience by focusing on the process and on marketing aspects of your site. Initially you will work with Hugh as he helps define the results you need from your site, your pages, your content, your keywords, your marketing strategy and your preferences in look and design. He then leads the process step by step from the mock-up stage through a completed, marketing-focused website that brings in the new business you need - in a matter of a few weeks.
